Astute – (adj.) having sharp judgement; perceptive. (চতুর, তীক্ষ্ণবুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন) 

She gave an astute judgement.



Candour – (n.) the quality of being open and honest. (সততা, অকপটতা) 

His candour in admitting mistakes was admirable.



Disparate – (adj.) fundamentally different or distinct. (ভিন্নধর্মী, সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা) 

The two cultures have disparate traditions.



Ephemeral – (adj.) lasting for a very short time. (ক্ষণস্থায়ী, অস্থায়ী) 

The beauty of cherry blossoms is ephemeral.



Gregarious – (adj.) sociable; enjoying the company of others. (মিশুক) 

He is a gregarious person who loves social gatherings.




Ineffable – (adj.) too great or extreme to be expressed in words. (অকথ্য, বর্ণনাতীত) 

The view from the mountain was ineffable.



Lethargic – (adj.) sluggish and lacking energy. (অলস, নিষ্ক্রিয়, উদাসীন) 

After the long journey, he felt lethargic.



Nefarious – (adj.) wicked or criminal. (দুর্বৃত্ত, নৃশংস, পাপীষ্ঠ) The villain had a nefarious plan.



Sycophant – (n.) a person who flatters someone to gain advantage. (চাটুকার, পরগাছা, মোসাহেব) 

The boss was surrounded by sycophants.



Ubiquitous – (adj.) present, appearing, or found everywhere. Omnipresent (সর্বব্যাপী, সর্বত্র বিদ্যমান) 

Smartphones are now ubiquitous in society.
