The Hindu Vocab : Part 3


In the heart of the ramshackle village, where time had woven its tendrils to unravel the very essence of existence, there bloomed a garden. Here, a community sought to nurture hope, to cultivate an equitable future from the ashes of their past. Yet, lurking beneath the surface, a malignant force sought to poison their efforts, shrouded in a cloak of subterfuge. Amidst the struggle for progress, they found solace in their unity, knowing that together they could overcome the darkest of shadows.


1) Ramshackle (Adj) - likely to fall down, dilapidated, derelict (ramshackle house)


2) Woven (Verb) - past form of weave that means to form or to make or to construct


3) Unravel (Verb) - to explain something that is difficult to understand, to solve a difficult matter


4) Nurture (Verb) - to take care of and protect 


6) Equitable (Adj) - fair and just (equitable treatment for all people.


7) Lurking (Adj) - hidden 


8) Malignant (Adj) - evil in nature, malevolent


9) Shroud (Verb) - wrap or dress


10) Subterfuge (Noun) - a trick or deception for achieving something , device, dodge, evasion, pretence, manoeuvre


11) Solace (Noun) - condolence, consolation


12) Tendrils (Noun) - thin and slender organs of plants for holding a support
